PROVIDER STANDARDS

What ZEBYA requires from providers

This public page explains the main standards that apply to providers. Every provider must read and electronically accept the full current Provider Platform Agreement during onboarding before their application can be completed.

Last updated: 20 August 2026

Current agreement

Provider Platform Agreement version 1.1, effective 3 August 2026.

The complete agreement is presented inside the secure provider onboarding journey. ZEBYA records acceptance of the current version before a provider can complete the application and be considered for marketplace activation.

Independent beauty professionals

ZEBYA providers operate independently. ZEBYA supplies marketplace, matching and booking technology and does not employ providers or perform the beauty service.

Identity and account verification

  • Verified email address and Australian mobile number.
  • Identity and selfie verification through ZEBYA's identity-verification provider.
  • Provider profile, face photo and service information.
  • Relevant portfolio images, service prices, operating area and availability.
  • Final ZEBYA review before marketplace activation.

Professional obligations

Providers are responsible for being legally entitled and competent to perform every service they offer, and for holding and maintaining any qualification, licence, permit, registration, business registration and insurance required for those services.

ZEBYA does not represent that it independently or continuously verifies every provider's qualifications, insurance or ABN unless a particular check is expressly stated by ZEBYA.

Service and safety standards

Providers must give accurate service, pricing, availability and portfolio information; work lawfully and safely; use suitable products and equipment; respect customer privacy and boundaries; and comply with applicable health, hygiene and professional requirements.

Bookings and pricing

Providers decide whether to accept a request. Confirmed ZEBYA bookings must follow the service, time, location and price agreed through the platform. Providers must not add undisclosed charges or move a ZEBYA booking off-platform to avoid platform rules.

Cancellations and customer rights

Confirmed bookings are governed by the ZEBYA Cancellation & Refund Policy. Nothing in the Provider Platform Agreement removes rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.
