What ZEBYA does
Customers tell ZEBYA the beauty service they need, where they are, the date and the time they need to be ready by. ZEBYA then matches the request with providers whose listed services, travel settings and availability fit the request.
Beauty services are provided by independent beauty professionals. ZEBYA provides the marketplace, matching and booking technology; it does not itself perform the beauty service.
How provider accounts are checked
Before a provider can be approved for the ZEBYA marketplace, the platform requires and reviews multiple account checks.
- Email verification.
- Australian mobile-number verification.
- Identity and selfie verification through ZEBYA's identity-verification provider.
- A clear provider profile photo and profile information.
- Services, prices, operating area and availability.
- Portfolio images relevant to the services the provider offers.
- Acceptance of the current ZEBYA Provider Platform Agreement.
- Final ZEBYA account review before marketplace activation.
What those checks do — and do not — mean
Identity verification helps ZEBYA confirm that a provider account is linked to a real person. ZEBYA's review is not a government licence, professional accreditation, employment relationship or guarantee of a particular service outcome.
Providers remain responsible for holding any qualifications, registrations, licences, permits, insurance and business registrations required for the services they perform. ZEBYA does not represent that it continuously verifies every provider's qualifications, insurance or ABN unless a specific check is expressly stated on the platform.
Early access
ZEBYA is deliberately starting with a limited Sydney provider network rather than presenting itself as a fully scaled national marketplace. Service availability depends on the customer's requested service, location, date and time.
